The Portrait Project:

Illuminating Diverse Narratives

An Initiative by The Living Garden Corp., a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit

"The Portrait Project," presented by The Living Garden Corp., is a heartfelt endeavor dedicated to capturing the rich and diverse stories of BIPOC families. As a committed 501(c)(3) non-profit, our goal is to inspire, empower, and celebrate the artistic expressions of BIPOC communities.

This unique project focuses on providing professional portrait photography to BIPOC families at no cost. We understand that many families within these communities rarely have access to premium photography services. By financially supporting skilled BIPOC artists, we enable them to beautifully encapsulate the essence, culture, and unity of these families in professional portraits.

In addition to photography, we are proud to offer the exclusive use of The Living Garden's versatile art studio. This space, designed to foster creativity and innovation, provides the perfect backdrop for each family's story to unfold. Furthermore, our commitment to inclusivity and empowerment extends to our team of talented BIPOC hair and makeup artists. They bring their artistry to each session, ensuring that every family feels seen, celebrated, and radiantly portrayed.

Our target demographic includes BIPOC families who have not had the opportunity to afford or access such artistic services. Through "The Portrait Project," we aim to do more than just capture moments; we strive to create a platform for these families to see themselves represented in art, to celebrate their identities, and to preserve their stories for future generations.

Join us in this visual

celebration of diversity,

where every portrait is a window

into the soul of a community,

and every image is a step towards

a more inclusive and vibrant world.
