Little Blue

(She/Her) is a Spoken Word Poet who was born and raised in Philadelphia. After serving in the United States Navy she made Portland, Oregon her new home.

Little Blue self published her first collection of poetry, Before I Self Destruct, in 2020. This body of work focuses on spreading mental health awareness in hopes that people will become more familiar with the topic and find healthy avenues to cope. Blue uses her words to paint murals and discuss topics of racism, police brutality, family issues and her rough experience in the city of “Brotherly love.”

Little Blue’s poetry has been featured in the Culture Icon Magazine Issue 2, and on Button Poetry.

She also had the honors of being one of the opening acts for Rupi Kaur on the Rupi Kaur World tour in May of 2022 and also featured at Da Poetry Lounge.
